Five years and counting!

Nate and I were married five years ago Friday. To celebrate, we spent the weekend in Hermann, Missouri at the Hermann Hill Riverbluff Cottages. After a day of walking around Hermann, touring Hermannhof Winery, scoping out the ancient Gasconade courthouse and drinking micro-brews at Tin Mill Brewing Company, we napped and headed out for dinner at The Cottage and drinks at The Bank Bar at Schiller. We had so much fun but rolled out of the B&B at 7:30a on Sunday to get back to the boys. Who wants to guess what most of our conversations were about while we were away - THE BOYS! Needless to say, we missed our rug rats but were thankful that Baa-baa and PawPaw held down our fort.

Now...

...and then.

The view from our cottage.

It's kind of creaping me out how much we have in common :) Our 5 year anniversary is this coming Friday! I've always wanted to go to Hermann!

Hermann! My neck of the woods (sort of, since it's Gasconade County!), and now my last name (minus one N!). My dad was a circuit judge and Hermann was one of his courthouses. Did you spot it up on the hill during your walking tour? It's old, but has a beautiful view of the river.

Glad you guys were able to get away! Congrats on 5 years!
